Joyetech has announced a pair of all-in-one (AIO) kits they are calling the Unimax 22 and Unimax 25. The tube-style 22 and 25 models are functionally identical, but the 22 has a 2200mAh battery and 2ml tank, while the 25 features a 3000mAh battery and 5ml tank. The Unimax 25 is 3mm wider to accommodate the extra battery and juice capacity and is a bit heavier, yet 5.5mm shorter than the Unimax 22.
These top-fill tanks use the new BFL (included) and optional BFXL coil heads and will also accept the same BF series heads used by the Cubis and Cubis Pro with an accessory adapter. Unfortunately for you builders out there, the Cubis RBA is not compatible. In addition to the supplied Unimax tip, the top airflow cap of either tank will accept any standard drip tip.
The Unimax battery allows two user selectable battery modes: direct output mode and constant voltage mode, and battery life is indicated by the rate of the flashing LED at the fire button – as the battery charge diminishes the LED flashes faster.
When it is time to charge, the Unimax battery has a side USB charging port, and circuit protection to guard against over-charging, in addition to over-current and over-discharging protection during use.
The Unimax kits will be available in Silver/Black, Silver/Brown, Silver/Blue, Silver/Red but fear not, if you change your mind you can change your mod: stickers (skins) will be available in all of the stock colors as an accessory.
