Due to their inherent simplicity and convenience, vape pens remain a popular choice amongst beginners. Typically marketed as “all-in-ones starter kits”, these devices include a basic cylindrical body that houses the power source (e.g. battery), paired with simple tank atomizer that is most often of the non-rebuildable variety.

Measuring just 21 mm in diameter, with a height of 130 mm, the KFB Kit is the perfect representation of this traditional AIO vape setup. Despite its compact size, the main body accommodates a single 18650 cell in addition to a concealed, 2 mL tank atomizer.

The mod itself reaches a 50-Watt output maximum, which is actually tons of power given its size. Together with pre-made BVC coil heads, rated for use in the 25-50 W output range, users can expect good clouds and decent flavor throughout.

Additional features include a small, front-facing firing button, side-filling ejuice ports, a 12 mm resin drip tip as well as adjustable top-airflow control.

Outwardly attractive and equipped with basic functionality, the OBS vape pen is an otherwise unremarkable AIO kit. However, given the success of the OBS atomizer series in general, the real measurement of its design hinges on the performance of the atomizer.
