A clever and creative design, the Cascade is named for its custom-built e-juice reservoir. It provides a “gentle cascade of e-juice” that flows from the main tank to the coil below. Vaporesso has termed this an “innovative isolation structure”, which in practice refers to a separate, metal component within the design. This additional part effectively joins the base of the atomizer to the main tank thus isolating the coil from the main reservoir. The benefit of this appears to be easier coil replacement, but users may also experience better flavor given its “dripping-like” setup. How do you think this system will affect flavor and vapor?

E-juice is channeled down to the installed coils via slits in the base. This component and airflow is controlled from the base of the atomizer for adequate cooling at higher temperatures. Air enters the atomizer via large airflow inlets positioned alongside the installed GTM core, coil head and their triangular placement ensures airflow remains stable and balanced throughout.

The large, 7 mL e-juice reservoir includes a nifty “slide-n-fill” top cap for easy refilling and users can further customize their tank setup with a choice of an optional, colored glass tube or stylish resin drip tip; both sold separately. Plus, with a vast range of stock coils available, you can adapt this setup to suit your preferred vaping style in the 25 – 200 W output range.

A departure from their standard designs, the Cascade is Vaporesso’s answer to SMOK’s Cloud Beast series. But whether their coil family can consistently meet the needs of advanced vapers, only time will tell. Do you think it will beat the Cloud Beast King?
